The Main Plan of Action:

The check is essential in order to understand the main problems that our product might face and we should make our product accordingly for the user. The check, which is a product brief is created from the design insights we have gathered. We will try our best to provide comfort and elevate the experience of senior citizens. The main objectives and features we would go ahead with are:

• Safety- It should not have any sharp edge to prevent the chance of injury. The well-being of every elderly is of utmost importance needs to be assured.
• Durability & Maintenance- The product should be fairly durable. Its quality should not degrade with time. There should be minimum possible maintenance so that our elders can use it for a long time without much tension.
• Portable & Lightweight- It should be easy to carry from one place to another. Small size is always preferable as it is handier. Foldable is also an option. It should not be heavy so that the elderly could lift it.
• Economical- It should not cost too high so that middle-class families can also afford it and the cost for its maintenance should also be very low.
• Automation- The product should take a minimum effort from the elderly perspective to operate, hence most of the things should be automatic.
• Comfort and self-sufficient- Elders should be comfortable using the product as they might not be up to mark with the new technology, so it should cater to them accordingly. It must not require external support from others and much strength to operate.
• Ergonomic Design- The design should be appealing and it should fascinate the elders. It should fit perfectly for the use of our elders so that they can operate it well. They should not get bored with it easily, thus defeating our main purpose.
