Cause
"I still think that the greatest suffering is being lonely, feeling unloved, just having no one…
That is the worst disease that any human being can ever experience." – Mother Teresa.
Main Concern: Elderly people find it difficult to pass their time at old ages.
This is mainly because now they are away from their friends and it is difficult for them to cope up with the current times and technology. They often forget things and it's tough for their acquaintances as well to guide them continuously.
This can cause psychological issues and at times, they also feel very lonely.
At such an old age, people often lose interest in normal things that could engage them. Entertainment at this age must focus more on engagement and relevant content from which elderly people could relate the most.
Interview of Smt. Shantabai Perke:
1. She loves gardening and likes to stay close to nature, but she is not able to do much of the things
because of her age and she is not much active as she used to be in her young age.
2. At times she feels lonely and so during those times she just needs someone with whom she can talk.
It can be anyone from a kid to an adult, not necessarily someone of her age.
